Decorating cupcakes in my Grandma's kitchen
My name is Andrea De Visser and I was born and raised in Hartland, Michigan. Ever since I was little I had a great love of baking. I used to eagerly wait for my mom to come home from work, with a cookie recipe ready, and insist that we start baking as soon as she walked in the door. As I got older my love of baking grew.
After graduating high school, I attended the Baking and Pastry Program at Schoolcraft College. where I studied under Certified Master Chef Jeff Gabriel and Certified Master Pastry Chef Joseph Decker. I then studied chocolate techniques under Certified Executive Chef Kris Dowdy, and have since catered many weddings and special events.
I then transferred to Concordia University Ann Arbor where I played soccer and earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration. I am very blessed to be able to turn my passion into a business and I am thankful for everyone who has helped me along the way.
